「 Personality 」

Despite his rather stern appearance, Xiliax is known to be incredibly kind & compassionate. He has a rather open-mindedness of the world & everyone, often never hesitating to lend a hand to help or treat everyone with respect. To many others, Xiliax does have a habit of being relatively cheeky & teases others ocassionally for amusement. He's not one to mind attention if it's not of ill-intention, but does get bashful with compliments & comments about him he receives unexpectedly.

However, Xiliax holds a fear of his kindness being taken advantage of & has little tolerance towards the people he perceives he is unable to get along with. His kind demeanour flips to the opposite immediately — being particularly cold & stoic, perhaps even harsh at times with his straightforward bluntness.

Growing up with the upbringing like any Dazkar in the tribe, Xiliax was among the many male Auri taught with the responsibility of taking care of their families. His close relationship with the tribe & his mother gave little opportunity to think of other trivia matters outside the Steppe. Nevertheless, this only lead Xiliax to daydream of what life would be like in the world of Eorzea, with it's foreign cultures & new experiences seemingly near his grasp.

Being a male Dazkar, Xiliax's duties never gave him the opportunities to be away from his family. Since his early childhood, he would often sneak away in the middle of the night to explore the foreign parts of the Steppe & marvel at his new discoveries, only to return at the crack of dawn with worrying lectures by his mother everyday. Upon his coming-of-age, Xiliax's mother blessed him with news that (through many nights of discussion with the elders) he would be allowed to go on the adventures he had been so curious about so long as he visited every so often, of course. As such, Xiliax chose his first destination outside of the Steppe — where the world of Eorzea awaited him, upon his arrival at Limsa Lominsa.

Xiliax spent many months & years of his life basking in the cold winds of Coerthas & Ishgard even after the reunification of man & dragons had been forged again. Even if it was a long journey from his ventures as Warrior of Light & Darkness, he would never fail to return to spend at least a night or two under the snowing sky filled with stars that seemingly glimmered just for him.

While his visits to the Steppe were short & not as occasional, he would always bring back something new for his tribe, whether it was ingredients for Ishgardian cuisine or even just stories to share to the young children with the same curious eyes he had.

「 Interesting Facts 」

— Has a particular affinity to the dragon kind.
— "Heirthlord" is a last name he adopted from his stays in Coerthas, given by a group of dragons he considers his second family.
— Excels in cooking, crafting & foraging due to his Dazkar upbringing, in Eorzea he is often referred to being a "househusband".
— Loves being in the presence of nature & animals, although he is unable to tame or interact with them particularly well.
— Although he had pestered about learning archery from his mother in his early years, Xiliax went on the path of the marauder instead upon seeing other Xaela of the Steppe wield the axe. He also picked up the teachings of the rapier-wielding Red Mage during his ventures in Eorzea.

— Has no issue with even the coldest of temperatures, but struggles with even a little heat.
— He's often referred to have a perculiar style of dressing & fashion that is "revealing" & sometimes "feminine".
— Has his ears, tongue and nipples pierced.
— Before his summoning to The First, Xiliax had short, tousled hair that was never something he cared for. His longer hairstyle currently was upon his return to the Source; he occassionally ties it up in a high ponytail.
— His heterochromia is a mix of his mother's red eyes & an unknown source for his white eye.

— His favorite past-times are crafting & decor-work.
— Enjoys dancing & scenary-viewing as ways to unwind on lazier days.
— Loves indulging in cold teas & meat-based dishes (Even if it means constant nagging when leaving his drinks/food to turn cold before consuming), often reaching for Ishgardian & Far Eastern cooking.
— Holds a low alcohol-tolerance & generally doesn't enjoy drinking.
— He has a habit of smoking when he's stressed, but always carries sweets or mints to have after a smoking session.
